Why FilePolish
Made for real deadlines
Designed around the small jobs students, office workers and freelancers do every week.
An editor that respects the original
Add text, images and shapes, or edit existing text. Pages you did not touch keep their content. Old text is removed, not hidden under a white box.
Privacy you can inspect
A strict Content Security Policy allows only FilePolish and the Support Kori donation widget. Local tools make no network call at all; the AI tools and the contact form are the only routes that send your data, each with a clear notice.
Bengali, shaped properly
We do not trust plain drawText with Bengali. Added text uses OpenType shaping and an embedded Noto Sans Bengali font, so conjuncts such as ক্ষ and জ্ঞ stay intact.
One tab, any screen
From a 360px phone to a desktop, with 44px touch targets, keyboard navigation and dark mode. Install it as an app and it opens like any other program.
What is FilePolish?
FilePolish is a calm, ad-free collection of browser-based file tools. Small PDF, image, data and writing jobs in one place — without an account, a sign-up wall or a watermark.
Most work happens on your device. Only the AI tools and the contact form send text, and each explains what leaves the device first. English and Bengali are both first-class: the interface, the fonts and the PDF output.
AboutTrust, in plain language
What we claim, and where the code backs it up.
Local tools never upload files
Processing happens in your browser, inside a Web Worker. An end-to-end test fails if any request carries file bytes during a tool run.
Only two routes send text
AI requests and contact messages. The AI route asks for consent; the contact form sends your name, email and message to our inbox through Resend.
No tracking cookies
Only your theme choice and AI acknowledgement live in your browser's local storage.
No watermark, no account
The output is your file. Every local tool works without creating an account.
Questions people ask
The most common questions about privacy, limits and Bengali.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. PDF, image, file and data tools run in your browser. There is no code path that sends the file to a server. Only AI text and contact messages leave the browser, and each is disclosed first.
Is FilePolish really free?
Yes. Local tools have no sign-up, paywall or watermark. AI tools have rate and size limits to control provider cost, but they do not require payment.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, email address or password. Your settings live only in your browser's local storage.
What is sent when I use an AI tool?
Only the text you provide. PDF tools extract text locally first; the PDF itself never leaves the device. You see a notice and give one-click consent before the first run. We do not log prompts or store results.
How good is the Bengali support?
The whole interface is available in Bengali. Bengali text added to PDFs is shaped with OpenType layout and an embedded Noto Sans Bengali font, so conjuncts do not break. Text extraction from old PDFs that use legacy Bijoy fonts may still be limited.
